Dr. Gold approaches her knowledge of the
early childhood field from a perspective of both a former pre-school teacher as well as a
college professor. Her particular areas of interest are Headstart and child care. She has
been awarded several U.S. Department of Education grants. She presently serves on the
Florida State Coordinating Council for Early Childhood Services and on the Florida
Developmental Disabilities Council.
