Mary Frances Hanline, Ph.D.

Dr. Hanline is well known in the field of
early childhood special education. She has a particular interest in transition. As a
faculty member at Florida State University she teaches courses in mental disabilities and
early childhood special education. She is co-director of U.S. Department of Education
Personnel Preparation grants as well as a demonstration grant focusing on the
effectiveness of play-based intervention for young children with disabilities in inclusive
settings. Prior to her Florida State University position Dr, Hanline at as San Francisco
State University. Dr. Hanline started her career as a public school special education
teacher.
